Cancer Support

Herbal Production for Sacred Medicine Sanctuary began after the annual meeting of the American Herbalist Guild, held that year in Cincinnati, former home of the Lloyd Laboratories that made the formulas used by the Eclectic physician and cancer specialist, Dr. Eli G. Jones. After visiting the Lloyd Library, we decided to reproduce the historic formulas of Dr. Jones.

Dr. Jones advised its use with older patients and those whose appetites are poor. He also suggested that people with breast cancer whose breast is hard "like old cheese" use this syrup. In addition, he prescribed it for patients with tumors of the throat, uterus, and rectum. For those with cancer of the tongue, he added potassium iodide to the basic tonic.

Seneca Elixir, 16 oz.

At the end of a forty-year career of treating cancer patients, Dr. Eli G. Jones published a book describing his cancer treatments. His final gift to his "brother physicians" was the recipe for the elixir that he regarded as the most important item in his repertoire of treatments.

Our experience is that this product is also an excellent parasiticide.

Sundance Elixir, 16 oz.

This is the Sacred Medicine version of a Hoxsey Tonic, using the same herbs as in the original formula, but made as an herbal elixir rather than potassium iodide cocktail. Our clinical experience suggests that the formula is bowel stimulating, pain relieving, and massively detoxifying.

Alcohol: 16-18%

Yellow Dock Elixir, 4 oz.

For a long time, Sacred Medicine Sanctuary produced a yellow dock glycerite based on the work of Dr. John Christopher. It was used to rebuild red blood cells. This replacement of the original product combines Rumex crispus with Celastrus scandens and Scrophularia nodosa, two of the main ingredients in the Seneca Elixir. It is made with pure blackstrap molasses to increase the benefit.

Alcohol: 14%

Contents: Rumex crispus is combined with Ziziphus jujuba fruit and Scrophularia nodosa. It is extracted in organic grain alcohol, vegetable glycerine, and distilled water and then blended with pure blackstrap molasses because of the minerals in molasses.
