Shatavari, Asparagus racemosus, is, as the name suggests, a member of the asparagus family. It is the most important herb in Ayurvedic formulas for the female reproductive system. Just as toxic heat is regarded as the most critical problem for the male reproductive system, vata derangements are regarded as troublesome for women. "Wind" causes instability and dryness so moisturing or demulcent herbs are used to improve elasticity, libido, and fertility. It can be used during both puberty and menopause as well as at any time there is a desire to increase sattva. It is suitable for use by men and children as well as women.

Women’s Cycle Nourish, 90 tablets, 500 mg.
