Gotu Kola Extract, 2 oz.

Brahmi supports the mind and nervous system, helping to improve memory and sustain intellectual effort. The leaves are considered to be very sattvic, i.e., pure as opposed to dull or stimulating. Gotu kola aids restful sleep and is a natural blood purifier. It was used by Machamuni Siddhar for his kalpa. In a way, brahmi is tridoshic because it reduces excess vata in the mind, is cooling to pitta, and decongesting to kapha.

Kava Kava Extract, 2 oz.

Kava or awa as it is called in Hawaii is consumed throughout the Pacific region. It tastes a bit like novacaine and is numbing. It was used before battles in Hawaii so that warriors would not be afraid of injuries. It also promotes euphoria and is thus used socially in some Polynesian cultures. It is not addictive but many people experience a slight mood elevation for up to 48 hours after consumption, usually immediately after drinking water. The effects then wear off completely. According to some kahunas, awa root will help to regenerate damaged nerve endings. There is no question but that kava kava is a nervine, but it is also a unique antidepressant due to its tendency to elevate mood through a sense of convivial happiness.

30 drops in a small amount of water, 2 to 3 times daily, or as directed by your health care provider. Shake well before using.

Ingredients: extract of organically grown Hawaiian Piper methysticum root in Distilled Water, Organic Alcohol, and Vegetable Glycerin.
